I Do Not Wonder on Death at Darkest night
By Grace Gruendel
I do not wonder on death at darkest night I live my life to think of the next day My morbid, wretched thoughts move you to light
All though your mind will go there you must fight Those thoughts they will take you to where you lay I do not wonder on death at darkest night
You will cry when that light, it shines so bright That death when it comes makes you wish for day My morbid, wretched thoughts move you to light
Now o’er a bridge you take off in a flight Too late to turn and go back some new way I do not wonder on death at darkest night
Grave thoughts, which take you where it is not right So grave there is no place to go away My morbid, wretched thoughts move you to light
And here you sit with me at such great heights Please don’t let those black thoughts take you one day I do not wonder on death at darkest night My morbid, wretched thoughts move you to light
