stoned and staring into deep space
i often wondered what you were thinking
in between the admissable distractions
and the miriade of creeping malaise.

tangled up in ditch weed and other tempests
we fumble through a time unknown until it
lotus like reveals the 12 levels of ascent
we never knew were so apparent from day 1.

in the novice nature a t-shirt that says
'Suffer Machine' means more to me than
than all the rock 'n' roll wrapped into a ball
because space and time are more worthy of thought.

consider the universe collapsing upon itself,
or the complexity of Sid Barret's mind everyday.
