TITLE (EDIT)
A Walk With Terror
DESCRIPTION
Dear Reader,

This story is based upon a true event that happened to me. Although the names have been changes. There are a few stretches in the story, such as what happened at the mausoleum. But my best friend and I did go into a graveyard at around 8 p.m. one night in October and we did experience a great temperature change. This story is mostly true but it does not tell all the events of that day we went through the graveyard. This work is considered to be made up and may or may not happen again.
I know what you're thinking, all the things in the story can be explained scientifically. Well when you do, leave a reply.

Sincerely,
Lucy Midnight

A Walk With Terror
Lucy Midnight

"Kami, what are we going to be doing over here?" asked Lucy, an ex-witch that was now very conservative.
"To hell if I know. If I knew then we wouldn't be going to my house in the middle of the day", Kami said flipping her extremely long blonde hair with red and black tips.
Kami was of course a witch trying to convince Lucy to resume her old ways with her. They had been best friends since freshman year of high school. Kami and Lucy had become inseparable, even after Lucy's father said that she had questionable associates. He said this after he found out that Kami had pierced her bottom lip with a safety pin.
As Lucy turned into Kami's house she quickly shut off the ignition and ran into Kami's house. They were acting like gabbing teenage girls although they much wiser than most of the girls at their school.
Not even five minutes after they'd arrived Damon decided to pay them a surprise visit before work. He knocked on the door and no one answered so he just walked right in.
"Who just walked in?" Kami yelled to Lucy from the bathroom where she was changing.
"I thought you'd be checking, I'm changing so I can't check."
When no one answered Lucy decided that she didn't care if no one saw her. When she walked out of Kami's room to find Damon she screamed, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Mike's here too" Damon said trying the excuse himself.
"You weren't supposed to tell. I was going to look…" Mike abruptly stopped his sentence.
"You were going to look at what Mike" Lucy said grabbing Mike by the pressure points on the back of his neck.
"Up yours or Kami's skirts" Mike said in a little girl voice while sinking down to the floor in pain.
"You are such a pervert. Both of you need to wait till someone invites you into a house" Lucy said as she released Mike and went back into Kami's room to finish getting dressed.
Five minutes later Lucy emerged from Kami's room to find that Kami was still in the bathroom. She found that Mike was gone so she went around the backside of the couch and nibbled on Damon's ear just a little. He started to smile and he grabbed Lucy and pulled her over the back of the couch into his lap. They began to kiss, not passionately but just pecks. Then after a few minutes they realized that Kami was still in the bathroom and that she had been changing multiple times.
"Kami, take your time in there Damon and I are going to take over your bedroom for a few hours" Lucy said winking at Damon to show that she was kidding.
Kami then burst out of the bathroom and yelled, "Like hell you are."
Damon and Lucy busted out laughing and then Damon said, "Well it's been fun but I have to get on down to work." He softly kissed Lucy and went to the door and left without saying anything to Kami.
"How can you like him?" Kami asked as soon the door shut.
"I just do. He likes me and I like him. That's all that matters."
"Where'd Mike go?"
"Nowhere, he's looking at you ass through the bedroom window."
"Damn she saw me."
"Who wouldn't have been able to see you, you dingle dork?" Lucy asked sarcastically.
All of them sat in Kami's house for two hours and talked about nothing at all. Finally Kami came up with a bright idea that Mike and Lucy loved. They would get Cassie and they would all go up to the graveyard.
When night came they went down to Cassie's all of them dressed in black leather jackets. Cassie met the other three in a white spaghetti strap shirt that was obviously too small for her.
"Cassie where's your leather jacket?" Mike asked.
"It's ripped and tattered."
"Your point being what?" Kami asked with a pissed look on her face.
"I can't go."
"Fine" Mike said walking away.
Lucy and Kami followed Mike and went to the graveyard.
"Okay, it's closed let's go back to Cassie's" said Mike with a shaky voice.
"Why Mike? Are you scared?" asked Lucy turning towards him.
"Hell yes I am."
"Let's go Luce he's to scared to go up to the mausoleum. We'll go up there together."
"Okay."
Lucy and Kami walked up on the trail around graves. Every once in awhile they'd look back at Mike who was standing against a tree trying to act and look cool. Lucy and Kami could only laugh.
As they went further into the graveyard they began to hit hills and it began to get colder as they traveled up the hills.
"Okay, this is weird. I thought that the higher you went the warmer it got and the lower you got the colder. This is all wrong, it's backwards," Kami said intelligently.
"The spirits are rising" Lucy said in a cool voice.
"The what!?"
"Spirits. It's almost Halloween Kami. Don't you know that when summer turns to autumn that not only the season and weather changes but also the spirits of the restless think that they can seek help from those that are able to help them on the outside of the grave. Take this one for example, he died as a little kid and he probably doesn't understand why he died" Lucy leans down to touch the ground. "It's ice cold."
"Let's stop the bull…"
"Don't swear in a graveyard at night, it's disrespectful."
"Okay then let's keep going up to the mausoleum."
Lucy and Kami continued up the hill to the mausoleum and once they arrived there they finally realized how cold it was. It must have dropped 25 degrees on just the walk up the hill. They sat on the steps to the mausoleum and Lucy leaned back against the door.
She heard a scratching sound from the mausoleum. "Stop it Kami."
"Stop what?"
"Stop scratching on the side of the darned mausoleum."
"I'm not."
Suddenly the door in which Lucy was leaning on opened. Kami and Lucy both screamed and Kami started to run away but Lucy couldn't seem to move. Kami ran over to where Lucy was practically paralyzed at and picked her up and threw her over her shoulder. Kami began to run as fast as she could down the hill. About half way down the hill Lucy woke up and said "Put me down I'm not broken."
Kami threw Lucy on to her feet and they both ran the rest of the way down the hill and half way up another. "What the hell was that?" Kami asked while trying to breath.
"I don't know".
They began to walk the rest of the way back to Mike. When they reached Mike he said "So,… what the hell happened to you two? You look as if you've seen a ghost."
"I guess you could say that" Kami said out of breath and smiling.
"You two are white as ghosts" Mike said as they passed under a streetlight.
"Your one to talk Mike, you didn't even go" Lucy said making her point and laughing.
"Hey, does anyone wanna go back to the mausoleum with me?" Kami asked.
"Maybe on my birthday" Lucy said.
