They say that demons walk the earth, in the sense of being a force that causes people to commit sins, but what if that force could live, breathe, and exist in the physical form of a man.

Peter Gomez, consecutive lawbreaker, just released from a 13 year bid in prison for murder, was encountered by such an entity. Peter never showed any reverence for God his entire life. His belief in hell made him an avid reader on Ancient rituals, rituals that allows evil to invade the realm of the earth. He sat down and browsed through the chapters flicking ash after ash from his lengthy menthol cigarette. A major spark of interest comes when he stumbles across Chapter seven entitled “The Awakening of Hell”.

He reads deeper into it and reads a scripture saying, “I shall arise from my kingdom of darkness, and the world will suffer beautifully from my wrath, Flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood will lead me to my path”.

Peter was amazed and said, “All my life I’ve served as an advocate of the Devil, now I have the opportunity to become apart of his legacy”.

Peter recognizes that the soul of Satan must be reincarnated as a child; he also knows that he must impregnate a woman under demonic possession in order for the demon DNA to manufacture through the mortal body.

Peter cracks open his number list of old friends who visited him while incarcerated, and shared also the same views as he did. He spotted Serena, his first love that used to cut out old year book pictures of Peter’s enemies and curse them. She was delighted to hear from him and agreed to meet at an old sanctuary where they in the past studied their craft, “Demonology”. They meet and Peter told her that he has found the spell to be the true immortal, and to open the gates of Hell.

Peter boastingly says “If you don’t believe me just watch”.

He then begins chanting the spell, “I surrender thy body, and I surrender thy soul only for the forces of evil to control”.

As Peter continues chanting, the room temperature dropped matching that of a freezer, the walls cracked and leaked with dust, the windows shattered, then the power failed. The dark room had a frightening silence, then “Flick” a light, Peter’s fiery fingertips glowed and brightened the entire room, his clothes were ripped off of him, his body bled maliciously from the sharp glass piercing his skin, Serena watched in amazement as Peter’s enhanced immune system began to heal him back to normal.

She gazed at him in disbelief and said “How can I have your power?”
Peter replied, “It’s all very simple”, responding as if he had dual sets of vocal chords both male and female, “first we must”, then an interruption, an officer who was dispatched to investigate the vandalism of the building. After seeing Peter’s flaming fingertips, he immediately drew his firearm. Peter raised his arm and pointed to the officer and telepathically the glass from the ground was projected at a tremendous speed and the cop was impaled in the head, throat, and the pupil of his eye.

“I told you I am immortal”, Peter said.

He closed his eyes in a deep concentration and the dead body vanished.

“Now we must complete the task, we must conceive a child, a child that will be the Supreme Being, emperor of evil, and conqueror of all existence.”

With a fearful hesitation Serena kissed Peter and caressed his topless body. She felt his blood boiling through his skin. The idea of having sex with a demon disgusted her tremendously, but unlike the movies Peter actually became more attractive. The romance got hot and heavy, she screams from the intensity of the sexual experience. Peter stops and roars with his arms raised to the sky causing it to rain and thunder.

“It’s done; it shouldn’t be long now before the birth”.

Serena just laid there weak and exhausted asks, “How long will it take?”

“A few hours from now”, Peter responded.

He picked her up and carried her out of the empty building, but backup policeman arrived blocking them in. Peter laid her down, and that’s when the melee began. The officers felt threatened and fired rounds at Peter, but neither bullet penetrated. The heat from the ammunition just made Peter angry. Peter casts fireballs which instantly burned them to a crisp. Peter stared at the remaining officers with a sick smile. After Peter’s daunting look, one officer in particular ceased fire and slowly walked to the trunk of his squad car and pulled out a double barreled Mossberg shotgun pump and killed his partners. It was apparent that the officer was under Peter’s command and for his helping hand his life was spared, but with no memory of ever seeing Peter or killing the others.

The baby must be born in a place where no one will interrupt, a place where death is decorated so exquisitely, like a cemetery. Peter carried Serena to God’s Angels Cemetery about five blocks away from the sanctuary as the thunder and rain continued to crash down. Serena coughed and her cold trembling body poured with sweat.

Peter told her, “Stay calm, once its over the pain will go away.”

She fell asleep and Peter ripped open her shirt to get a feel of the abomination that was growing inside of her. The touch burned his hands and out of a deep sleep Serena twitched. She screamed at the top of her lungs still half asleep.

Peter woke her saying, “Is it coming?”

She said deliriously, “I can see him.”

Serena extended her hand Peter grabbed it and horrible visions of a snake morphing into some kind of monstrous figure was what Peter saw through his own eyes along with fire burning and tormenting thousands of souls. The energy of these graphic hallucinations was so intense that it thrusted him away from Serena.

“I can smell brimstone”, Serena says.

“The ending is about to begin; I can feel it”, the now exasperated Peter said.

Peter continued by saying,”What we need is a force field to shield us from any possible distractions.”

Peter waived his arms, (the magic of motion) and every car on the block, like a battery to a magnet, was drawn to the entrance of the cemetery. The thunder roared louder as the rain turned to hail. There were no stars in the sky and the moon looked dim.

Serena screamed in agony, “It’s coming”.

The ground rumbled and Peter realized that in order to successfully assure the safety of Serena, he must cut open her stomach in place of a vaginal birth. His arms formed into large cutting knives ad under his direction began to slit her open. Aside from all of the blood, all Peter could see was a very bright light which temporarily blinded him. Once he regained his vision the light had disappeared. There were no sounds, no crying, no movement, and then (BOOM) a hand extended out which appeared to be a humans. This is not at all what Peter expected. He reaches into Serena’s womb and removed the child, whom was slightly larger than an average child, but nonetheless normal. Peter didn’t understand why he was possessed with all of those powers, or how he could do all of those unusual things and conceive a normal child. While pondering on the thought of having a normal child, he looked over at Serena and noticed that she was dead. Peter then turned his attention back to the child once again asking, “Why are you human”? The child had a face of no emotion. The rain and the thunder stopped and to make matters worse for Peter, his powers were gone.

The baby stood and walked, while Peter watched in amazement, “You can walk”, Peter asked?

The baby walked over to Serena’s lifeless body and reach inside of her womb retrieving a dagger with a symbol of an encircled star engraved on the handle. Snakes crawled out from the graves which appeared to be the souls of the dead and surrounded Peter.

“What’s going on” asked Peter?

The child spoke, “Flesh of my flesh blood of my blood will lead me to my path”, Peter yelled “NOOOOOO”, and the child stabbed him in the heart.

The cemetery was set to flames. The child shape shifted into a man robed in a dark colored robe, and the snakes took the form of humans. The Devil walks the earth. The cars that once blocked the gates of the cemetery blew away like ashes in the wind, and every living thing within a ten block radius froze and shattered like glass. Humanity is under destruction. The Devil walks the earth.

"Great mind,I love it. Your hot with your words." -- James White, New York,, NY, U.S.A..
"To be brutally honest, This is half-assed writing. The theme is totally copycat from a conglomeration of B occult movies, comic book fantasies, and corny re-hashed demonic rituals. Nothing original, nothing new, just the same old, same old stuff. What you have attempted to write is ordinary trash that just about everyone has seen or read before. Even 14 year-olds would find it boring. Yawn! C'mon, you can do better than this. Or can you?" -- Richard.
"very cool dude, read this story awhile ago still awaiting something new." -- bryan jones, newark, new jersey, usa.
