TITLE (EDIT)
Spencer
DESCRIPTION
Spence’s life is filled with ups-and-downs. Police is after him, circumstances keep arising. He is involved in drug trade, extortion from multiple business owners, money laundering, organized crime, racketeering, but mostly drug trafficking, and apart of a gang that basically come together for self proof that they are not alone in their progresses. The setting is Jamaica. The plot involves the underworld life, the gangland lifestyle which is the world of organized crime, running from and confrontations with the cops.
Spence’s plan was to unite with the other gang in the area after the almost dilapidation of his ward by the local police. Stop the fighting and make peace. It turns out too that there is also a dilapidation of the rival gang enterprise.
He had gone to the headquarters of another gang to demand peace to team up with them against the police force In there attempts to dismantle the criminal enterprises. The plot is linked to the rise and fall of criminal 2 major criminal enterprises over the other. Then eventually the near fall of both of them by the police forces new strategies. Now the two enterprises must group together to overcome and prevail themselves over the police.

NB: Dialect written in Jamaican and a bit English.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Jamaica for 12 years. Then I lived in New York City for 3 years, until I somehow ended up back in Jamaica and lived there for 5 years. (By now you should have guessed my age) I am currently a college student in the US majoring in sociology and a minor in English. I love writing very much but since I returned to the US I have found it rather difficult to re-ignite that flame and passion that I had for writing. Hopefully as I post my work in Storymania, I can receive constructive criticism, or reviews of my work. I welcome negative reviews of my work because I feel this can help me to make my writing better. Things like, “this poem sucks!” or “I don’t understand anything you are talking about in this writing,” I welcome with open arms.
I have traveled around, and have numerous experiences as it relates to the environment in which I’ve lived in. I admire diversity and culture, and hopefully someday, my admiration and interest in the various ways in which people live their lives can influence me more profoundly to reach out to people. I feel that writing is a way to start and gives me a chance to cut across borders and transcend across the continents, across ethnicity and race. Especially since I attend a university that is historically white, and 90% of the students are white middle-class Americans and I myself is of African descent. My passion for diversity increases the more I am in this kind of environment.
