Butterflies Revenge Jessi
Two small children. A boy and a girl. They ran through the meadow, a butterfly net in their hands. Flowers were blooming, butterflies galore. The girl giggled and swung her net, catching a bright violet butterfly. She called to the boy. “Allen! Come here! Butterfly!” The boy ran over. He reached into the net and caught the butterfly by one wing. “Pretty!” he crooned. They both giggled. The boy and the girl. The butterfly struggled in his toddler grip. Its perfect wing tore. “Oops!” cried the little boy. “Jessie, I broked it!” tears were now streaming down his face. The little girl looked. “Uh oh”. The boy dropped the butterfly. It floated to the ground. It was now dead. The children looked at each other. The girl breathed “Allen? Do you think the butterflies will come after us?” The boy looked grim. “I broked a butterfly.”
That evening the children’s mother called and called. Her two, they never came home. Disappeared like a lone feather in the wind…
