the circus had come to town. cloey the clown was part of the circus. no matter how he tried cloey could not get the crowd to laugh. he would pull funny faces and do a funny dance. nobody would laugh. cloey would juggle bananas and even drop one or two. still, noone laughed at cloey the clown. cloey's father owned the circus. "if you can't get the crowd to laugh tonite, you're out", he said to cloey. the circus began and out came cloey the clown. he pulled funny faces and did a funny dance. nobody laughed. cloey juggled his bananas and dropped two. yet, noone laughed at cloey the clown. cloey threw down his bananas and turned to walk off. he felt like crying. all of a sudden cloey slipped on one of his bananas and fell flat on his back. well, the crowd laughed and laughed. cloey couldn't believe it and started laughing too. from then on it became part of his act. everybody laughed at cloey the clown.
