My legs are over my head
But I will keep on living
Just like I was meant to be
Downtown, everything’s gone wrong
And I still stand on the edge
Of my self-righteous façade
Oh why are you fighting this?
Living still in the bright new past
What they can’t deny

I’ll hold mine with the rights of men
That they can’t deny

Learn to see right through their lies
And keep your promise to earth
My fatalist dreams undone

In my blissful apathy
