I would try to understand
Everything He is doing.
I want to know where I'm going.
I would question Him everyday,
Then I would pray.
He would be my teacher.
I would be his preacher.
I would say to the Creator
Let me be your imitator...
If I stood on God's right hand,
I would be his main man.
I would always have questions.
I'd want to know all persons.
I would always remember
That the end of December
Is only the beginning of a New Year.
My ears would be opened to hear
Every sacred word he spoke.
I'd know about all those folk.
