Curious
when i read of the way she writes
it's like a slap to the face
seeing of her love for him
brings me to a place
where reality pushes fantasy away
left alone, bittersweet memories
unable to conjure up
the way i want things to be
dreams dashed in a flash
no longer to pretend
that i'm the one she wants
that i'm the one she needs
so easy in the world of make believe
to fall into that trap
of seeing what you want to see
ignoring hard core facts
make everything come out rosey
the way you want it to be
lord i have to tell you
i hate this fucking reality
