Just sitting here, with my thoughts
Trying to set them straight
I drift off to sleep, I go to bed
Whispering softly, with thoughts of you in my head.
I continue my life, but you are there
Having a silent influence
I work so hard, I do my best
And in the end, it's you I try to impress.
Trees around, sun shining down
I try to get in the mood
I think of you, I look at him
He's kissing me, but I have thoughts of you in my head.
Now I can't believe I'm standing here, looking into your eyes
I feel the magic in our heat, the smile that's in your eyes
Can you imagine a life alone, a life so quiet without me?
Can recall the pain of it all, me thinking, "It's her, and not me?"
I continue my life, 'cept now you're here
We're loving every minute
You kiss my eyes, so soft and sweet
I feel your love, the magic in our heat.
