Alook From His Eyes
David William Bielefeld

I walked into work early at four.
Beside him I was the only one with biceps 16 inches or more.

He had tatoo's of gangs on his arms.
I used the compassion of Notre Dame educated father not to feel alarm.

His eyes showed both confusion and hate.
My judgement thought that crime was not his fate.

His life should not be wasted on a early life force of nature.
He life shouldn't be wasted he seemed no less human than us other creatures.

I treated him as I was taught to treat all, with respect.
Any who doesn't teach other's as this should have done what he did to me, inspect.

Because of courage and prisoners as such I feel no fear.
At the age of three one my dad convictedcame after the family without a tear.

What you must know.
To put fear in my family you must be more than an average Joe.

We will see you as any other.
I will treat anyone as I treat my mother.
