Can You Picture
Jordan Holetzky
Everyone has a life, it may be good and it may be bad. Have you ever saw someone who doesn't have as good a life as someone? Someone who may not have as nice as clothes or homes as someone.
First of all, can you picture life through someone else's eyes? Can you picture the way that some people suffer? Some suffer from the heat or the cold. Some starving and going through everyday with hunger pains or getting sick from dehydration. Some getting hurt or getting really sick and cannot afford to go to a doctor so they suffer.
Now, can you imagine someone living on the streets or in old not so good homes? Imagine living in the winter the cold chill that never leaves or in the summer the scorching sun that fries everything?
Sadly, some people look down at these people. Why? Because they are not wearing Prada? Well you know what not all people have the same chances in life as sone of us. Some had to drop out of high school so that they could help earn money for their family. They may have had a kid and had to drop out or other reasons. Half the jobs out there no require that you go to college; and half the people or more in each state cannot afford to go to college.
Lastly, there is something you can do to help. Donate food to a local food drive, maybe donate money to a reliable charity. You could also donate old (decent) clothes to thrift stores or clothes drives. However, the easiest thing you can do that takes not even ten minutes to do it Pray. Pray that they can get a better life and that their kids can have a better life.
Obviously you can kind of see my point of view on this and please help people get off the street.
