COLOMBIA
What has Colombia come to? I don't mean economically or politically, really those couldn't be less influencing in my life. Violence, kidnapping kids; children! Children are what motivate people's daily acts, peace. We are angels! Recently the violence situation has come to a top. An all time animator loved by all; Pacheco is now forced to go out of the country. He was a reason for people to stay here, a role to fallow. Two, three months ago the US people said we were uncivilized that leaved on trees, my reaction was to get mad, now our reality has passed those words. I feel violence, sadness, vulnerability have touch us all, with no discrimination. Such a beautiful country its landscape, people, party! How come we waste it all? I guess my eyes must have been close and my soul shot to reality by the society I am surrounded by. Now it seems that waiting for my daily transport to pick me up to go to school is a risk. Why will anyone live to love a country where not even children are respected? Having hope in the middle of this war attempts your basic right, the right to live. It is like walking down a street with a rare diamond. We the children of this country are its future; one that doesn't seems that promising. The sunflower is always looking towards the light, even thought there is cloudy sky. Our sky is tormentor and our sunflowers can keep pointing to light, but now violence has turned each and everyone of our petals down and left us with no direction, lost in what seems a mercy less sea. Dark and death have taken our country, each tear that falls down our chick's joins the ocean of confusion and fear. It seems that our fear will be our weapon to take us out of this game for two. Sour after sour has penetrated our heart, has been swirl with violence, the responsible us but in our pain we manage to find other victims. A gray soul takes all of the country, mutants eye people have replace ours and once more we are sitting watching in our own safety bubble; helpless....as always...
