Contemplation
Musau

Contemplate. Contemplating. Contemplation.

Live and let live,
That is the rule of life.

The decadent decays and the youth prospers.
The old lady dies while the young watches her.
Let the dying step aside.
Give room for the young to slide.
Don't blame the little boy
Who runs and plays with a toy.

Myself is the most important to me.
Theirselves are important in men I see.
Since I am a man, imperfect, and subject to death,
I know it is only good thoughts which give good
health.
Health exists in the minds of men,
And it can decide your enemy or your friend.
The healthy mind makes things healthy exist.
Health is a word with relative meanings, I dismiss
The notion that health means the same thing.
What does it mean to Chow Jew Ching?
So, I sit here, I contemplate.
I think while I meditate.
Am I not only just a man?
A leg, a nose, a right hand.
So, let's just end all of this word play.
Let me show you what I say.
Live and let live, be humble and obey
All those signs that come your way.

Today I went to Cambridge all the way down Mass.
Avenue,
Then there was something I discovered I never knew.
I hadn't realized that Cambridge was so slow.
Boston is faster than Cambridge, you know.
I went to a bar and met a friend of mine.
We got high, drove real fast, and didn't get a fine.
I owe the city of Boston exactly twenty five cents,
Because this little boy heard some hints.
It was mind which willed those things to come,
Because I thought of God and not any harm.
So, I returned safely to my room to sit and to write
About all the things I will contemplate tonight.
By sitting here with my black pen,
I can write myself a life without end.
If I strive to be perfect without sin,
I know that God is good to all men.
Talk to Him and He will be your friend.
Accept the truths which exist before your eyes.
The truth will not perish, but so do lies.
I can create poetry as long as I desire
Provided, I sleep, wait, take time and hire
Myself out to people in order to live.
I am a slave, that is so real.
At this moment, I am getting nowhere.
I'll rest my pen for a black Blair.
This poem is beginning to tire me out.
I'd rather write. I don't want to open my mouth.
If you be cool and calm,
You don't worry about harm.

I sit here and I wonder what will become of me.
I went to the park and there were things to see.
I felt selfish and very annoyed,
Because there were certain ones I wanted to avoid.
These people reminded me of so much of myself.
One must be careful, wealth makes him more than him-
self.
I felt strange when I was out there this time.
That park may not be very good for my mind.
I'd rather sit and be in my own world.
But I did meet this pretty girl.
I must be doing well at this point,
And I'll take my dogs to Andover to hunt.
I'm just a little, humble, country boy.
My name should have been Jim, Joe, or Roy.
I thought this poem would be heavy and deep.
It is only philosophical when you go to sleep!
If you wake up the next morning or later in the day,
Here are a few words that would be good to say-
"Oh, Heavenly Father, I am your tool, your instrument,
I humble myself to you because of the message you
sent
Long time ago. Protect me now, until tonight,
And I promise to try to be right."

I got up and walked down Wasahington Street.
I walked so fast and so far that I hurt my feet.
I stood out in front across Massachusetts Avenue.
The cars went by, people walked while the wind blew.
I buttoned my jacket to keep warm from the chill.
I thought about walking to Dudley then Bluehill,
But something inside of me said 'be still'.
Do you want to live, or do you want to kill?
I walk so much that I wonder sometimes,
Is it I or is it other men out of their minds?
You can't stay in place all of your life.
A man only needs one good wife.
Some people can be so greedy; they want everything.
The good life is more than having every material thing.
To look at the blue sky, or to feel the sun
Is enough to make any man run.
When you look at a man, look for the good.
It is wise to be a gentleman, rather than a hood.
For what you let exist within your head
Will make your soul live or make it dead.
Eternity exists for everyone who reads and writes.
It is education which decides the outcomes of fights.
Knowing and wanting to know more things
Enlightens the mind and good life brings

"Hey M! You definately have potential but honestly man,the stuff you're putting out on this site is really horrible." -- David.
"David, why have you taken such a deragotory attitude. Who put you up to this. From the looks of your comments you seem to be a very culturally deprived individual. I want to really scorn you, but the more I consider it, I find you to be a very pitiful and pathetic individual, so I feel sorry for you. But on the brighter side for me...I do have some people reading and reacting to my stuff." -- MUSAU, Los Angeles, California, USA.
