Death, Dying Nesam Pillay
How I welcome death, dying
like Emily says "death sets a thing significant"
seems at this time so inviting, exceptionally fascinating
especially so now when I am in the depths of my spirit
my emotions hang so deep, so low...
death
seems to provide a way out
but I was brought up to believe
that suicide was sin
and destroying the body
is a 'no no'
Death
your open arms seem warm
especially now when times are cold
and the fact that no love exists
for the only one I cared for is no more...
therefore its so much easier to wanna go
Death
wont you come and take me away
I am ready and awaiting for the day
when your angels come to meet me
I know that I'd indeed be happy
to enter into the other side of life
God
let death come and take me
please make it as naturally as You will it to be
this is a sincere prayer
its not running away from responsibility
but wanting to live, to be freed finally
to dwell in eternity.
