Do You See?
Jessi

Nights unfold, bringing day

And there is not much else to say

The owls that hunt, with wise old eyes

Are oblivious to broken cries

Lies, tears, blood and lust

Can just go burn in flames to dust

Lazy minds yell and scream

For none of them have the heart to dream

Treasured amongst all that are dear

Is the thing that we all most fear

To hide and shy away

Or to hope it all turns out okay

Last lines spoken aloud

To be meek or to be proud

At the end of the day

It doesn’t matter what we say

Till the end we try, we fail and we succeed

But can never tell what we truly need

Till the moment has passed

And we reflect on everything at last
