I did it for you. You know that's true.
I'll never forget you - that's true, too.
Everytime I think up verses
I remember our blasted curses
It's different between us
than it is with him and me
In our case, it's more than lust
You see what he doesn't see

We're just friends, ya need to get a grip
Nothing's ever gonna happen!"

Besides, society's too judgmental
To accept a love that special
I know you look at me and don't see what you want
I look at myself - I've got nothing to flaunt
But you understand what my life is like
Both sets of parents should just take a hike
They shouldn't try to fix us. We're not broken
We need to be SAVED? They must be jokin'!
Seriously, though, just let me try
Together forever, we could fly
For now, I guess I'll stifle my feelings
While the world as we know it keeps on reeling
I'd do anything to be with you
Every day, every moment, I think of you
With each line of the pentacle
I cut a star and then a circle
I write your name right next to it
I did it for you, I won't forget
Thinking of what we could have gained
I cut down the alley and across the lane
The dull thoughts rip and soothe
The sexy sharpness reminds me of you
My love burns inside a flame
On my wrist, again, and again
I try all the things you have tried
I get hooked, and then I die
From heaven, or hell, I look upon all
And I'm there to catch you when you fall
You loved her, and she turned you down
As you asked for her grace, she let you drown
