Guilt Harriet Nicholas
We cannot let guilt reign over us
Though it is a useful
Check
It is like a bad seed
Planted in your mind
As it spreads its roots
You realise you are in trouble
Now is the time to act
Work at pulling it out
As quickly as possible
Attack it from every possible angle
Take those steps
To rectify the situation
Before it is too late
I know it must sound selfish
But guilt for anyone
Is no game
It's evil is underestimated
It breeds quite happily in your mind
And lashes out lethally
From time to time
Fight to destroy the guilt
A weed in your mind
Trying to stagnate your person
