TITLE (EDIT) Hey You- Gina Marie Gordon Wayne Edwardsdavid Barreto
DESCRIPTION
Last year on January 23rd 2011, Ms Gordon's mother " Elizabeth Easler" was rushed to the ER near dead, over the course of most of last year 2011, We had been told mom was not going to make it, from constant blood infections , kiddney failer, conjestive heart, failure lung seizures and amputation my mom fought long and hard even in spite of nearing death and everything. I put the lyrics together, Wayne Edwards came along and said he wanted to work on this song with me back in August 22 2011, The next few days were a blur as doctors along with hospital took my family aside and said mom was not going to make it they were sorry. I took care of her in the hospital day and day out, living in a chair in her room. from nursing homes, going home for a few days with mom. feeding tube changes. laughing , watching TV, god didn't let me lose my mom. Today is is walking with a syntathic leg at times and mainly from her wheelchair cooking , cleaning, she drives and takes care of my little sister. then david barreto begged us to let his daughter record this song Alexis Barreto, after hearing a basic guitar / vocal melody version on our facebook wall, My mom and I listened to it last week 2 days after her birthday. we cried together. MOM IM SO PROUD OF YOU!! YOU ARE A MIRACLE, AND IM GLAD I STILL GET TO SAY " HEY YOU" [240 words]

Hey You- Gina Marie Gordon Wayne Edwardsdavid Barreto Ms Gina Marie Gordon
Every day we're faced with the opportunity
to say hey to somebody new
Call it luck or call it fate but either way
The chance is there for you
You never know who you might be talking to
It might be the one
to make all your dreams come true
If nothing eles maybe you'll make a friend
Who will be there till the end
HEY YOU" where ya coming from
HEY YOU" where ya going to
Can I help you with that do you need a dime
to say hello and maybe then you'll find
Thats all you have to do
HEY YOU
In todays society/there's people all around
but few can see/ this bridge of opportunity
may only come around/ once for you and me
We take granted tomorrow will be there/
Like flipping cards in a game of solitare
So don't be afraid to ask someone to dance
You might not get the second chance
HEY YOU" where ya coming from
HEY YOU" where ya going to
Can I help you with that do you need a dime
to say hello and maybe then you'll find
Thats all you have to do
HEY YOU
HEY YOU,I know your suffering
HEY YOU,I feel the same way too
let me help you through the pain
into the light/ and I'll stay till the very end
There will be other waiting to say
HEY YOU
AND WHEN i need you
I know that you'll come through
Just tap my shoulders a time or two
Let me know everything will be okay
I can't wait to hear you say
HEY YOU
HEY YOU
HEY YOU
HEY YOU
MMMMMM HEY YOU...
Fade
End
