Tessa
At the bottom of a pile of clothes lay his shirt
My breath caught as I looked at it crumpled, inert
Uninvited, images of him came to mind
And of he and I, our bodies intertwined
I picked it up and inhaled his heavenly scent
And was flooded with sweet memories of the night we spent
Relishing pleasures remembered, I slipped his shirt on
And relived sleeping in his arms until the break of dawn
Imbued by his shirt and the moments it has caught
I smile to myself as it provokes sinful thoughts
Fondly, I took his shirt off and put it away
To come across and muse over on another day
