How Do You Feel? B C Mercer
From the moment I met you,
I felt it in my heart.
Love at first sight,
I’ve never known how it starts.
The shine in your smile,
The glint in your eye,
Is as beautiful as a sunset,
Gleaming high up in the sky.
I’ve thought of giving up,
On my search for true love.
Until you came into my life,
Sent straight from up above.
I know this may seem fast,
It’s something I’ve never done.
But it’s a chance I have to take,
Before you jump up and run.
Your qualities are innumerable,
Your flaws I’ve yet to see.
One day they will show themselves,
When it’s between just you and me.
I don’t know how to express myself,
These feelings are hard to say.
I wish that there will be a time,
When I can tell you to your face.
I want to know what happiness is,
And if all this is real.
But the big question burning in my mind,
Is how do you feel?
