I Know You Love Me

I know you love me
I can see it in your eyes
Why can’t you say it?
I told you I loved you
Many times before
And I always will love you
I don’t know why you can’t say it
And why you can’t let me know
If you love me so much,
Why are trying to make me let go?
We were best friends
And then I fell in love with you
But then you decided you hated me
And out friend ship was lost at sea.
I think it sunk
Because it has yet to return
It’s been 6 months
And still you are through
You can’t see the hurt
You put in my eyes
Or the pain you caused me
Deep down inside.
How can I still love you
When you hurt me
Is something you
May be asking yourself
I still love you
Because you showed what friendship really was.
I’m sorry to tell you
That I just can’t let go
I can’t say good bye
And I can’t bring you back.
I miss you so much
And I still love you so.
Never forget that
And I’ll be here for you
For always
Because best friends
Are always for life.
