"good prose. :)" -- Peggy J. Bertrand, Sioux City, IA, United States.
"It is sad in a good way as Ms. Bertrand suggested, but it is "verse", not "prose."" -- The Advisor.
"I like this! Plaintive, concise -- it says exactly what it sets out to, without unnecessary melodrama or length. Short, sweet, and sad." -- Bitch.
"Prose n. 1. Language in ordinary usage, as opposed to verse. 2. Flat, unstimulating language. I believe the word Ms. Bertrand was reaching for to describe a story told in poem, is "narrative or epic poetry."" -- The Advisor.
"Direct and concise. One might consider a more concrete poem." -- B.C. Harer, Mount Vernon, Washington, USA.
"Exactly. I have written much on the subject." -- R. Bennett Okerstrom.
"I really enjoyed your poem and wanted to know if you would interested in letting me put it in my literary magazine. E-mail me for more details." -- Toni Lynch, Ohio.
