Miss You Avis
I feel so odd writing this letter but I really have to say I’m missing you terribly. I toss n turn the nights away Time is at a standstill. Between us many a mile Each moment lasts forever. I’ve forgotten how to smile I miss you a lot
All my days are empty. My nights eternity Without your words, your smile, your voice I plead insanity I softly cry into my pillow. Awaiting your return I hope you’re enjoying your hols in the sun, take care, please don’t burn I miss you a lot
Every time my phone rings. My heart begins to race And when I learn it isn’t you. A tear runs down my face When you come back I promise. I’ll never let you go Smother you with kisses. Show you, I love you so Oh, I miss you a lot
I wish you knew how much I need you Miss you, miss you, miss you, miss you I’m restless n miserable without you Even if its for a moment, I hope you miss me too I miss you a lot
One day you will truly leave me, and far away you’ll go I too shall have to walk away, all joy I will forgo But the words I say today, will forever be so true Lots of love, hugs and kisses from your dear sweetheart
P.S. I miss you

"u have used alot of emotions in ur poem. the poem is thick with feelings and makes one aware of the pains that one goes through in life. feelings of anxiety worry fear and hope are all seen together in the poem and one has to realise that the poet also adds dejection and surrender to circumstances. this makes the reading very rich and complex. " -- Sharon.
"speaks words of millions of women who have loved, given and not received, I love it." -- louisa, aberdeen.
"Has been many years, but this brings it all back. Especially, enjoyed the use of the refrain after each stanza. If i may, at the end - - "Lots of love, hugs and kisses, Dear, and . . ./P.S. "Thats very loving and sad in its own, i loved it, one problem for me though: the use of 'n' i found was a little too colloquial for me in this piece. But it wsa great" -- Josh / Axey.
