T J Rintoull, born 1983, currently residing on the Gold Coast in Australia, grew up in a combination of city housing, winnebago travelling and bush shacks, before entering the worlds of music, art and literature. Told often that he should have attended university to better himself, instead he devotes his time to working dead end jobs in order to pay the bills, and his spare time to creating music and literature. He confesses that although he loves to paint he has no ability with a brush whatsoever.
Currently T J Rintoull resides with his fiance in a small flat, as he continues to attempt a measure of success with his band and his writing.

New Year's Day
T J Rintoull

January wherefore art thou
And February where will you go
While I sit in these many walls
Waiting for an answer
March is marching on
And April may die too soon
While I blacken my thoughts
Inking too many questions
May is a friend for Thursdays
And June is too far away
While apathy bites
Pestilent at my resilience
July is a future recaptured
And August is lost in the gloom
While I'm fighting a whirlwind
Pounding thin air as usual
September has been once too often
And October just waits to be heard
While I'm washing my hands
Clearing dirt from weariness
November couldn't be further away
And December has just left behind
While I pray for the new
To break the habit and outgrace the old.
