ABOUT
THE AUTHOR
Sixteen. Growing up too fast. Poetry in motion, verses flying past her on the highway. And she breathes in the air. She can smell the perfume of decaying unpublished literature. To her, it reminds her of home And the Pennsylvania sunshine. [June 2004]

November Sun Vianne-Marie Fortier
You were searching for love
And I for inspiration in
This November sun.
You sat in this November sun dreaming as
You were dreaming, calling to the wind to find her
Calling to the birds to sing her song.
She came to you in November sun
But she broke in your arms just like December dust
With only tears to confide in.
You were searching for love and
She was only searching for someone to laden
With the lonely tears she forced on you.
My muse was the innocence of you
And the verses that floated freely in your eyes
Were poured onto your paper in November sun.
It was in November sun that I first
Saw the tenderness of a tamer of words
And the flicker of a fire began.
In November sun you brushed
My shoulder and I sighed the words
Of a writer in tune with her pain,
“ I can only be one thing to everyone but
I want to be someone to you and I will
Die under moonlight calling out your name.”
I knew that what I know now in this
November sun as I embrace the warmth of
Your figure and press my lips to the lips of a writer.
This pencil brushes the paper freely
Like the words from your mouth, a melody of
A writer in tune with his pain,
“ I can only be one thing to everyone
But I want to be someone to you in
This November sun.”
In November sun I knew what I now
See in your eyes and that day I knew
I had fallen in love with a poet.

"This is beautiful. I plan to read all of your poems as soon as possible. December dust is an awesome metaphor in this context. This reminds me of Dreamtrybe, an austin band who has a song about november (www.dreamtrybe.com). It also reminds me of Carly Simon's 'In Pain'...a great song for poets...you are a great poet..." -- Brenda Daigle, Birmingham, USA, AL.
"please tell me about the personification in the "November Sun"" -- tat, bkk, bkk, thailand.
