There's only
one single rose
left in our garden
even though
most of the garden has dried up
there's still
this one single rose
one single hope
that still remain
one single rose
and even through heaven and hell
this rose still grows
one single rose
one last breath
inches away from death
yet it survives
staying alive for us to cherish it
this one single rose
that holds this last and single hope
i only wish
i only hope
you find it in yourself
to give this rose a chance
sprinkle some water and spread some soil
help this rose grow on
this one single rose
has been through hell
yet it still smells fresher than ever
and even though this rose's thorns
has poked you many times
the rose is still beautiful
more or less
this one single rose
is in a losing battle
yet i ask you to have faith
in this one single flower
