Trees dont grow on trees
they grow in the ground
and if a tree falls alone in the forest
ofcourse it makes a sound.
we are like trees
firmly routed at the knees
are destiny's are planned
isnt it funny
the false pretence in you and me
but dont forget in every pearl lies a grain of sand
rivers dont flow upstream they flow to the sea
but like an unrequited love
this river only flows to you from me
and like an ocean you can be
just as deep as the sea
that tells the stories that you keep,secret inside
but its just the rough tide
the locked door behind your eyes
which means that my access may be denied
mary fell out with her little lamb
when she lost all sense of how their friendship began
how can we be friends with those of different kinds
unless we realise,the differences dwell only within our minds
mountains dont make themselves
they have to be pushed
like a war doesnt just erupt it has to be caused
like a door cant open itself it has to be forced
but the oyster that created this pearl
had other dreams.
