POV of A Man She Doesn’t Love
oh, her?
well, maybe she likes big guys
with snake and knife tattoos
probably in a leather jacket,
who listens to jazz and blues
probably the party type,
the type who drink and smoke
who you can date on Tuesdays,
with some fries and Coke
she must even have a dream man,
a picture she had drawn in mind
and I’m afraid
that I’m not the one she wants to find
oh, man I wish I could explain..
but she,
she’s the purple skies
during the sunsets in the summer,
she’s the sun that kiss
all those pretty flowers
and I,
I’m just a leaf in a huge tree,
hidden from the flowers she kiss
and she would never even notice me,
Even if she hear about this
