I need an angel to show me the way
For the devil is trying to lead me astray
He’s been haunting me in recent times
Whispering for me to take what’s not mine
I need an angel to show me the light
Remind my conscience what’s wrong and what’s right
The devil’s been trying to entice with temptation
To enter his dark world of lies and deception
Luring me with lust and ephemeral pleasure
I beg for an angel with most desperate measure
The devil whispers to me day in and day out
Making me question to whom I’m devout
I need an angel to help save my soul
To keep me safe from demonic control
I beg for my guardian angel to hasten to me
For the devil enchants me with his dark poetry
Intoxicated, I confess to have surrendered a kiss
Defenseless and weak, for his wicked charm persists
Angel, please, quicken your wings and hurry along
He’s drawing me closer for I’m no longer strong
He’s fast leading me into his shaded world of nether
Where I will suffer with my soul lost forever
Angel, to you I implore and beseech
To keep me from this devil’s long reach
Please come down from heaven up above
And save me from this demon’s nefarious love
