Salvation In Death
Alberto Pupo

Such a night has not been witnessed by human
eyes, before. Death, destruction, murder, a mass waste of human flesh, the perfect method of population control. With a smile upon the face and a heart detached from emotion delivering freedom to those who felt life isnot worth living.
A hero of sorts setting one free from fleshly desire or simly put any form of material want or yearning. Yes he will fulfill your every wish by bringing forth the truth before unbelieving eyes.
Tom isan unbeliever, a skeptic in every way, hebelieves that life was nothing more thanan accident a sneeze in the cosmic connundrum, humanity is insignificant. Lookingoutinto the night he still refused to believed what the senses
had witnessed, a messiah in black, razorsharp blade hacking away at innocence, hacking down thosewho wished to be free, it was morbidly beautiful, even heart warming. Yet he will not buy any of it for it is all a mass global olitical conspiracy a ploy to further controlthe masses and instill the values of government and patriotism. Beware of walking Death beware the smiling killer/savior.. in today's world both words have become one and the same. No life must continue there is nothing beyond the senses, whenthe body dies it remains terribly still, life comes to an abrupt end, no Garden of Heavenly delights no choir of Angels welcoming you to yet another phase of existence.. No nothing but darkness, an eternal slee fromwhcih thereis mo awakening from. A knock on the door, heart begins to race, have they come for him at last. is it time to jointhose who currently reside six feet beneath this earth, hollow remains of individuals who once lived and breathed. Pounding on the door, it can't be no he will remain silent perhas itis some idiot kid fooling with hismind, much like the young man whose intestines flowed out right before eyes that still remember the expression of horror upon the young man's face.
No! so pale so young.... the pounding intensified echoing throughoutthe darkness of the household. No there is nothing but humanity, life death, life.... And then the door gives way, a deafening silence fills the mind, a presence has entered isit he, the bringer of Death the bearer of ill will.Slowly footsteps picking up the pace, perhaps it is time tosay a prayer toa God that does not exist, just for good times sakes, remembering his childhood kneeling beforethe image ofthe crucified Christ, a most meek Messiah when compared to the current one, the nameless one, the... A sudden jolt a relaization slowly turning around an open door way and there it stood before him, a blade in hand, features obscured by the cover of shadow. "Well I take it you've come for me, well it is my time, I.." silently ever so silently its stepped forward a hand flickingthe light switch revealing to the world , revealing to unbelieving eyes.......
" Anne? is that you?" and so the world awaits.
