Star Magic
Susan T Fisher
Deep into the clear velvety night,
The air is smooth and wind just right.
Look up, gaze way up in the sky,
Way above the tree branches ever so high.
The stars are lying on a blanket of Indigo,
All crystal bright putting on their show!
Twinkling brightly, doing their best,
Each of them trying to outdo the rest.
Shining, glittering, blinking in the night,
As they perform, oh, what a sight!
Only God’s hand could make a star way above,
He sprinkled the sky with magic and His love.
