Stolen Moments Gary Thompson
Stolen Moments
A forty-five degree lift as the machine jumps into life
She's a bikies moll first, then maybe a wife
The big Harleys power causes her adrenaline to pump
She's out on her bike; she's out there till stumps
With stars overhead she roars through the night
Cars all around she causes them fright
The horizon beckons as the sun breaks the dawn
Time for a break, she stretches to yawn
A quick shower and a beer and it's back on the road
This affairs to be kept quiet, they're the rules of the code
His lips were so hot as their temperatures soughed
He gave her his love; it was her just reward
With the needle off the clock she speeds up "the Bass"
Her husband is waiting; he's at home with her brats
Her secret is safe at this moment in time
For without her secret love, life's not worth a dime
The end of this tale is not happy at all
Up ahead there's a bend, and a mighty big wall
The road is still slippery from the night rains just past
She thinks of her lover, these thoughts are her last
