Suicide Retribution
Samara

A sullen though is the night’s veil that does fall
As the inky black spills another nightmare calls
Darkness forming a prison I know I can’t escape
Living in despair, in hopeless agony I wait
Watching the stars feint with a faltering fire
Standing on the edge of this world I quickly tire
Something else beckons, calling from beyond
Promises to love me for every time I’ve been wronged
Huddled in the corner, crying to myself
Knowing I could have fixed this
If only I had reached for help
But time has passed and formed the years
That did plague me in my sleep
Knowing time has run out against me
I take the whispers words to keep
You won’t ever find me, however hard you look
The toll of life has played it part
And it was my soul it took
