The Bukowski Curse
Charles F Kane

Have I fallen for
the Bukowski curse?
All I see is the ugliness
of a vain and brutal world
and bitches having ugly sex
with filthy old grandpa-men.

I see the poverty that ruins
The sickness that destroys
The lies that makes wraiths
That twists in mens souls
And I write about it
tell about the ruin of
the good in men

I see no pretty flowers
All I see is death
The rotting corpse
of a world gone mad
Destruction is so rampant
The ramparts are falling

And I don't really care
Let the world fall to ruin
Let it all burn to ashes
Ruin and ashes
