The Complexity Of Simplicity

Confusion,
a word to define my mind...
Illusion,
one that suits like perfectly...
Simplicity,
is a word that I do not know the meaning of
Complexity,
Do I create my own drama?
I choose when to say, when to go, when to dream,
I laugh, I cry, I love, I hurt...
All common reactions to conscious decisions
that I make under no ill influences but my own
Then who should I blame when I am
unhappy, lonely, scared....
No one but myself.
But how true is that?
Am I to blame for being alone?
When the men that I have come to love,
Lie, cheat, steal.....
Is it my fault for not loving nor trusting those who have followed?
Should I let down my guard and once again be vulnerable?
Or forever be on guard with my impenetrable Heart, Soul, Mind....
and play the game to perfection,
All the while getting played....
Confusion, Illusion, Complexity....
Can I change all that to simplicity
and simply learn love the life that I live?
