The Final Kiss Tamsin Butler
With this Kiss I shall depart but never say goodbye.
Fear of leaving lingering words will only make me cry.
You were a silent thief you crept in and stole my heart.
The chapter of my life with you is over, this is the final part.
Echoes of the whispered past resound inside my mind.
The missing part of me I never thought I’d find.
In you I found both a lover and a friend.
The memories of you I will treasure to the end.
Moving on to different things may not always be better.
It may be brilliant sunshine or dark and stormy weather.
I couldn’t predict the future with you, but I never envisioned this.
That I would be leaving you with just one final perfect kiss

"Untimely Sometimes… We know… Sometimes… We don’t even have a clue… Knowing… Is just a feeling… A touch of a moment… Felt in the heart… By a sudden longing… For just a little… More time… Not having a clue… Leaves questions… To each and every memory spent… Felt in the heart… By the why… We have this gap in so little time… Sometimes… We know what it is… Even when words are not spoken to say… Sometimes… We don’t have a clue… To unspoken feeling… When we suffer a loss… At these times… We never know... When what… We are feeling… Is the touch… The smile… The kiss… That says… Good-by…………………………. " -- James, Ruffin, SC, USA.
