The Girl On The Bicycle
Kate Kerrison

I'm the girl on the bicycle in the paddington bear hat
The swish of the wheels as the pedals go round
The hills are a bugger
But I love to freewheel
I zoom downhill my feet have wings
Auburn leaves scatter in my wake
It is a cold clear day
Makes me glow with the joy of being alive
Flowers in the hedgerow
Birds in the trees
Horses in pasture
Fields and fields of waving ripe winter wheat
I'm the girl on the bicycle in the paddington bear hat
