The Machine D G Williford
Darkness… what is going on?
I was safe in my warm place
I had food to eat and people to sing to me
I hear a humming
Not a happy tune
This is not something that I want to hear
I feel air
and then I feel cold hard steel
Sucking, sucking
What am I to do?
I’m so scared…
I want to run but there is nowhere to go
I don’t hear her anymore
I have no one to protect me from the noise
Then it comes…
The pull
My arms and legs are being torn from my body
Why are they doing this?
What did I do to deserve this?
All I can taste is blood…
I just want to go back to sleep
Sleep, where everything was home
Was I bad?
Did I do something wrong?
I see a light now
And I hear whispers
They are pointing at me
They are saying that my mother is a murderer
I hide under the flowing robe
Only this cover makes me feel protected
I look up
He looks into my eyes
He says
I’m here

"Hmmm!Sounds like birth trauma, read Bob frissel,i think you will find the title(Nothing in this book is true but its exactly how things are)interesting.Nice work" -- Stuart Eric Longridge, Belfast.
"If an abortion is what you call birth trauma in Belfast, then so be it... Thanks for the compliment, I think. What in the hell does Bob Frissel have to do with my piece? He's into alien invasions and eye of Hagus or some crap... Didn't get the correlation. " -- Author.
"This piece really disturbed me...it's well written so it isn't you so I guess it was the content. It would be nice if you put the topic under description so people coulc choose if they want to read it or not. I felt like I had no choice in the matter. Guess that's what the baby felt like as well. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm you made me think, thats for sure." -- Michelle.
"This is a very disturbing piece for me as well Michelle. I lost a baby by miscarriage in 2001. Alot of my grief and anger at this comes through in my pieces. I was writing this from the position of the baby when a mother chooses to abort how they would feel if their emotions were mature. Thanks for reading this and I will add sensitive in the description. " -- Author.
"Very disturbing, but good. Have you known someone who aborted?" -- david doc byron.
"I unfortunately do have a family member that did so at a very young age and regrets it to this day because she never had children and may not be around much longer. This is what I imagined a baby would go through if they knew what was happening... and I agree... very disturbing... thanks for reading it..." -- Author.
