They Say It, I Do.
Buxton

Why did you kill, I ask, as you look away,
I'm sure you'd find reason to quit this cherade and stay,
And so I heard them say they would come back for you today,
But they never told me to leave you this way,

You are cold sitting by the window, watching the World go by,
I stand by the door loading my gun listening to your silent cry,
You feel remorse for what you have done, I look to the floor,
Raise my gun, fire once, and you are no more,

A silence echos through the chill of the night,
Your descent to Hell is now your own personal fight,
I let one tear drop onto this floor of light,
To see if it ripples through me and tells my hand to gain sight,

I drop the gun to the footsteps of the law,
They come with purpose, but no purpose I saw,
Only visions of what I had done with fun I recall ,
The day my World got so fucking small.
