There was this girl
when i first met her
thats all she was
but then she grew on me
like an apple on a tree
while i was wit her
i never knew she was the one
but now i'll do anything
to get her back
At first i looked upon her
as a pretty girl
but now it's like
the sun of my day
and my light in the night
soon you became the person
i wanted to be with
Now that your gone
everyday i think about you
and everynight i dream
just to see you
but none of that
means anything
i wish i could change things
but i can't so i'll
try to make them better
And everysince you left
there's been this pain in my chest
it wakes me up at night
it makes me sad
even makes me cry
the pain soaks my heart up
like a storm of rain
and it's starting to be a fact
that my life won't be complete
til i get you back
