hi lynne, sorry for the delay in replying to you, but i was kind of bowled over by your response to my yahoo posting which i had done just for the fun of it. i was expecting whackos but you actually are nice/awesome/too good to be true. since you were so kind as to give the stats on yourself here are mine. i am 24, working as a computer geek, although i'm not into it so much that i watch star trek reruns every night. like i probably said on my original posting, i like watching movies (it's really cool that you share my enthusiasm in that sphere, since so many of current box office movies are absolute crap), reading, etc. personality wise, i have to admit i am very easy to get along with. i might not agree with everything you say but i won't force my point of view down your throat. there are some days when i fall prey to negative thinking about the usefulness of being alive in a seemingly out-to-get-you world, but other than that i am pretty cheerful, although i do have a pretty acidic sense of humor, kinda like Chandler in Friends, but less sarcastic. i would love to meet you, maybe go see a movie (actually i'm not just an art house freak, i do watch normal movies too, eg, i do want to see, The Spy who shagged me. mike myers is a hoot!). but, there's no pressure, we can keep on chatting through email, i'll be more prompt next time. i almost forgot my looks. i'm tempted to say i look horrible and see if you still want to meet me, but i'll play it safe because i do like you so far. i'm originally from india, so i look kinda indian, black hair, brown eyes, pretty fit, 5'10, and yes some tasteful women have professed they find themselves inexplicably attracted to me. (do i have an ego or what.)

All that and then some? sounds either too good to be true or maybe you are just overly egotistical?:-) My name is Lynne and I am 20 years old. I am so tired with dating losers who don't know anything about culture or this world we live in other than McDonalds and Trojans. Of course I'm not totally serious all the time! I love to go clubbing, work out, go to movies(it was the Japanese Samurai comment that got me-I don't mind subtitles at all and I adore foreign films), and just about anything else as long as it's fun. I love to read and I am majoring in ancient history. Now the real deal I suppose. Everyone always wants to know what someone looks like, although you just might be satisfied with gazing at yourself in the mirror you don't need to know what I look like...:-)J/K I am 5 ft tall, with long dark blonde hair and grey eyes. I'm athletic, mostly from martial arts and weightlifting(I'm not a body builder or anything, though!) I work full time in retail management as a department head for Target. I recently moved to va from Az in january. Well there you go. I may not be all that(despite what all the guys tell me, plus I am rather modest, most of the time anyway:-) but I am educated, intelligent and confident in who I am and what I want out of life. so if you are remotely interested(and intelligent:-), I'll be waiting for your response.
