Why do you hide?
Are you afraid?
Are you alive?
I try to flee
I try to fly
This is me
I don't see why
Everyone tries to label
Everyone tries to fix
Everyone tries to sweep me up
Like a game of pick-up-sticks
When I need you
You don't seem to care
When I look to see you by my side
You're rarely ever there
I'm stabbed in the back
I'm left all alone
I have to fend for myself
Not a friend to call my own
How long can this façade go on?
I'm really starting to come undone
All I see are the empty faces
All I know is empty spaces
No one is true
and No one is real
The walls of my mind
Are starting to reel
Life's true meaning
Has long since been lost
Am I going to have to pay the cost?
I feel small and obsolete
Like with my pain
The world can't compete
The universe can't contain my pain
Threads and seams burst apart once again
Crying and dying don't come so easy
I try so hard but I just can't please me
What do you want from me
What will you do to me?
There's no escape for me
