We live in a world of color
But nothing’s brighter than
Our shades of grey, our shades of grey
We stare at one another
And pretend that it’s all ok
But we’re not the same, we're not the same
Just a mix of pink and red
In every single word you said
It turned to silence instead
I keep mixing black and blue
In everything I do to you
But your hurt is clear to my eyes, and I...
Well I see the color green
When he’s there in your dreams
Why can't we get this right
You know I need a mix of blue
To help me get back to you
I keep falling through
I wish I could turn this black to white
Take the pain from your eyes
And wash this grey from mine, tonight
I could always tell black from white
It’s just my heart, that’s colorblind
