You Didn't Leave
Jeremiah J Greer

My past is one thing i never think about
Because it's filled with so much pain
And if i continue hanging on to it
In the future I'll have nothing to gain
But i look back from time to time on how you left me
And it'll always be in my memory
I get that lost hope inside me now that your gone
And that's why i sing this song

I want you to know... I love, I love, I love you
And I know you heard me say it before
But I just wanna make sure that you can hear me
Now that you're gone through that open door
I know you're not here physically
But I feel your soul in me
You're in the realm we can't see
I believe, I believe you didn't leave

And i reminiscence of what we had
And all the love we shared
The thought of you leaving me hurts so bad
The pain is just too much to bare
But i won't forget your pleasant name
Or how you helped me make it through this game
We'll meet again one day but until then
I sing this song listen to what I'm singing

I want you to know... I love, I love, I love you
And I know you heard me say it before
But I just wanna make sure that you can hear me
Now that you're gone through that open door
I know you're not here physically
But I feel your soul in me
You're in the realm we can't see
I believe, I believe you didn't leave

My singing carries on your beautiful voice
My heart will carry your love
And if i ever had the choice
I would give you that one last hug
I hate that i never could say goodbye
And i hate to know you left this way
But i know you're right here by my side
That's what gets me through the day
You keep me going, you keep me flowing
You keep me dreaming, keep me believing
And just for you Ima be the best i can be
I love you and you're always in my memory

I want you to know... I love, I love, I love you
And I know you heard me say it before
But I just wanna make sure that you can hear me
Now that you're gone through that open door
I know you're not here physically
But I feel your soul in me
You're in the realm we can't see
I believe, I believe you didn't leave
