In the mornin
When I’m feelin sorta down
Your right here by my side, Lord
When I’m kinda lonely
You’re always there for me
When I think it’s only me
There’s always you
After school and I’m feelin overwhelmed
By everything and everyone
And I just feel like cryin in someone’s arms,
You’re always there
There for me
When it seems there’s no one there
To share the laughs or the tears
You’re always there, Lord
There for me
Lord, you’re always with me
When I’m sad
Or when I’m happy
Your always lookin after me
In my childhood,
I went through things a child should never
Have to go through
But you helped me through it
Through the bad and the good
Even if I haven’t done my best
In my words or my actions
You forgive me
But I can’t understand why
Why you would do this for me
You helped me learn from mine and
Other’s mistakes
Teaching me right from wrong
Lord, you helped me to be who I am today
