SARGE (O.C.) Williams, get in here! INT.SARGE'S OFFICE SARGE (angry) What the hell is going on out there? DETECTIVE WILLIAMS (in a quiet voice) I have a hunch sir that maybe some satanic cult is behind these murders. SARGE (yelling) Get out there and get something real! The detective leaves the office, grabs his coat and drives off. EXT.HIGHWAY-MID-DAY Detective Williams is driving down highway thinking heavily. His pager goes off and he calls into station on his car speakerphone. DETECTIVE WILLIAMS Wiliams here, what's up? CELL PHONE VOICE (O.C) Sir, we have a possible witness who may have seen something last night. Berkshire farm on Cleveland Lane. EXT.BERKSHIRE FARM HOUSE The detective pulls into the driveway of what looks like an abandoned farmhouse. He parks and cautiously walks up to the front door noticing what appears to be dried up blood on the front porch. EXT.FRONT PORCH The detective knocks on the door. He waits several moments as there is no answer. Soon the door slowly creeks open and the man in the green coat greets him. The detective is startled by the strange dead looking appearance of the man. STRANGER (in an eerie dark voice) Sorry to startle you detective, I was just coming in from the field, are you ready to begin the interview. DETECTIVE WILLIAMS (hesitating) Yes. STRANGER Very well, please come inside. INT.LIVING ROOM Inside, the detective notices a very dark and dirty house, cobwebs here and there, old furniture and the room was lit by only the sunlight from outside the windows. The detective takes a breath of air and is troubled by a bad smell. STRANGER Would you like some tea, detective? DETECTIVE WILLIAMS (fast, caught by surprise) Hell no! I mean no thank you sir, lets just begin the interview. The stranger motions for the detective to sit in the couch as the stranger also sits down in a chair across from him. DETECTIVE WILLIAMS Now what exactly did you see last night? STRANGER I was sleeping and awoke to a loud crying voice coming from the barn. When I went outside to see what it was, I met him. DETECTIVE WILLIAMS (curious) Excuse me, you met him? Who? STRANGER (pointing behind the detectives back) Him! Without warning a large dark figure storms into the room with an ax. The detective turns around, we see it coming after him through the detectives eyes (P.O.V.) . It raises the ax and strikes down on him. The screen goes BLACK. INT.POLICE STATION-LATER THAT DAY Several plain clothes and uniformed cops and the Sarge are standing around the radio transmitter room. COP 2 (worried) There's still no response from Williams. We've been trying for hours now. SARGE What the hell is going on here? Get several units to swing by that farmhouse! EXT.BERKSHIRE FARM-NEARING SUNSET-SAME DAY In the back of the barn house the headless cow and dead reindeer are laying down resting on the dirt. The cow is badly burned from the car accident, her skin peeling off, her guts hanging out, you can see right through her down to the bones. Sounds of police sirens heading closer echo in the background. REINDEER (V.O) You hear that noise, its them, they're coming for us, we must run. COW (V.O) No more running. Exhausted, the cow collapses. The deer rest himself over the cow and the two lay there quietly. Soon, police cars arrive at the scene. About ten uniformed cops draw their guns and surround the two animals. At that moment, a feeling of being watched from behind the fields behind them was felt by the cops. A couple of them turn around and see many dark figures behind them, which cast a shadow over the scene. COP 3 Oh, my god, what is that? Several dozen cow and reindeer surround them, lightning strikes in the background as a storm begins. The animals attack. Guns are being fired like crazy as the animals over take the police. Lightning strikes the farmhouse and sets it ablaze. The rain starts to pour down heavy as the camera moves down the property and we hear the screams of the cops. The heavy fire spreads across the massacre scene. EXT.BERKSHIRE FARM HOUSE-LATER THAT EVENING Most of the property has been burned down, the rain stops and something emerges from the smoky ruins. It is the cows and reindeers with the heads of the policeman attached to their bodies. Leading the group was a deer with the head of Detective Williams on it. They all circled around the headless cow and dead reindeer, performing an eerie dark ritual dance. It appeared the headless cow was dead. The scary dance continues through the night as the camera fades back from the scene. INT.HELL There are several corridors that were cave like with fire brewing at the end of each one. It is dark and extremely hot with shadows of flames on the cave like walls. There is a main room in the near distance with a throne chair at the center made out of human bones with snakes wrapped around it hissing violently. Sounds of human suffering came from the walls, screams, cries and pleads for forgiveness. INT.HELL-THRONE ROOM Several tall demons with hairy burnt lizard like skin, three feet long horns, long beards and dark robs are going through a daily soul delivery manifest made of thin stone. One of the new entries on the long list surprise them as they grunt and point at it. INT.HELL-HALLWAYS Satan and a few assistants seem to be on a walking tour down the corridors. The manifest demons run up to him to show him the manifest. INT.HELL-EMPTY CORRIDOR Something from underground is digging its way to the surface. After a brief struggle through the dirt it manages to rise from the ground. It is the headless cow arriving in hell. She slowly walks toward a cave of fire with screaming souls inside. A loud voice is heard by the cow that causes her to stop. It was the devil. DEVIL (O.C.) (dark commanding voice) I will not accept you cow, I need you. The dark prince wearing a black cape appears from the shadows and confronts the cow. He drops his cape to reveal his naked body. The devil stretches his arms and the cow sees the faces of all it's victims etched into his body. DEVIL (his eyes lighting up red) Bring me more. EXT.CHICKEN EXPRESS TAKEOUT RESTAURANT-AFTERNOON A pimple-faced teenager named Bob leaves the chicken restaurant with a several large bags and takes off in a gremlin car. He is a delivery boy working part time. BOB (talking into a cell phone while driving the car) Hey, baby. Yeah, I've got one more delivery to make to some party. Yeah, that sounds cool, get the weed and I'll meet you there in a little while. EXT.OLD HOUSE The travels down some deserted road, it pulls into the driveway of some broken down house with boarded up windows. He approaches the front porch and knocks on the door because there is no working bell. An old woman in a torn nightgown answers, her face is extremely wrinkled and discolored. BOB (scared) That's um, fifty-eight fifty, mam. The old woman reaches into her pocket digging up the money. She hands it to him and Bob hurries to leave. OLD WOMAN (in a creepy voice staring into his eyes) Such a nice head you have, my sweet little man. Running scared Bob runs back to the car and takes off. EXT.OLD HOUSE-EARLY EVENING Bob returns back to the house with his girlfriend in the car. They are drinking beer, smoking pot and giggling. GIRLFRIEND (a little annoyed) What are we doing here? BOB Come on, you have to check out this crazy old bitch. They walk up to the house sharing the joint and start to peek in the window while partying and giggling having a good time. They see the old woman inside walking funny in the living room, she sits down in a chair. Suddenly, something approaches them from behind. Their eyes widen in fear as they both scream in terror and a dark shadow cast over their faces. INT.OLD HOUSE BASEMENT-SAME EVENING The headless cow and dead reindeer are sleeping in the basement. The basement looks like a bomb shelter and is fully supplied with various items. The door leading downstairs slowly creeks open and the old woman comes down the steps. The animals wake up. OLD WOMAN (angry) I don't like this, you've been bad again, you two must be punished. For the next few minutes she relentlessly whips the two animals with a chain. INT.OLD HOUSE BATHROOM The headless cow lies in a hot tub while the old woman massages her shoulders. OLD WOMAN (in a caressing voice) Remember my love, you will always have a safe home here. If you go outside again, they will kill you. After the bath she lays the cow down on the floor and uses a needle and thread to sow up the cow's wounds. INT.HALLWAY Down the hall the dead reindeer is eating the nude body of Bob's girlfriend. EXT.LOCAL NEWSPAPER BUILDING-AFTERNOON Traffic passes by a local town paper office building. INT.LOCAL NEWSPAPER BUILDING OFFICES Millie, a young and pretty brunette reporter sits at her desk working. Her senior partner Will Stevens walks in. WILL (happily) Hey Millie, remember that story we did awhile back about the ten headless police bodies that were found. MILLIE Oh, yeah, the apparent animal cult connection. WILL Yeah well check out this witness report from one of my sources. He hands her a piece of paper; she looks at it as it reveals a report about an animal sacrifice seen in a backyard of a farmhouse. MILLIE (excited) Wow. Yo, we could get there by tomorrow. This may be important, we could blow this case wide open. WILL (agreeing) This could be our biggest story, I'll get the camera! EXT.COUNTRY ROAD-SUNRISE The two reporters are lost as they look at the map driving from one dark road to the next. Soon they see a house in the distance with a dim light in one of the upstairs windows. MILLIE Will, go down there, I think that is the house. Will turns off the lights of the car and parks some distance from the house. The two get out of the car and Will takes some pictures of the house. WILL Well, what should we do. MILLIE It's very early, lets wait a few hours and then well go over. Lets just knock on the door and say they won some contest and get free money, nobody will turn that down. Once we get inside, I'll go to the bathroom and snoop around. INT.CHICKEN HOUSE RESTAURANT-LATER THAT DAY The phone rings and a young worker answers. WORKER Chicken Express, how can I help you? OLD WOMAN (O.C.) Five boxes of the special please, 121 Elmwood. EXT.OLD HOUSE PORCH-LATER THAT DAY The old woman is letting the two reporters into the house. They both notice her funny walk. INT.OLD HOUSE LIVING ROOM OLD WOMAN Why don't we sit down in here and discuss this prize. Will sits down right away. Millie hesitates. WILL (nervous) May I use your bathroom. OLD WOMAN (pointing her finger down the hall) Fine, third door down at the end. As Millie is distracting her in the living room, Will makes his way to the basement door. He sneaks down and sees the two animals resting down there. He takes out his camera and starts snapping pictures a fast a she can. The cow and reindeer are annoyed, break the chains off and go after him. As Will runs up the stairs the cow knocks him down and punches his camera. Her hoof goes straight through it and right into Will's face putting a hole through it under his nose, his eyes still open. INT.OLD HOUSE LIVING ROOM The noise alerts the old woman and Millie as the two rush to the hallway. INT.OLD HOUSE HALLWAY The two animals rush by them in a stampede fashion charging down the front door and fleeing. OLD WOMAN (to Millie) You see what you've done! My babies are gone. She grabs Millie by the throat. MILLIE (crying) Why do you care for them, are you fucking crazy or something!! OLD WOMAN I have no choice, were family. The old woman drops her nightgown to the floor and reveals to Millie her reindeer body standing on its back feet; the old woman head was just surgically attached to it. EXT.OLD HOUSE-LATER THAT DAY The Chicken Express delivery boy pulls up, gets out of the car with the food and heads up to the porch. The delivery boy sees a familiar face answer the door. It is the face of his co-worker Bob. WORKER (shocked) Bob!! What the hell are you doing here? As he looked down he finds out that it is just the head of Bob that he sees attached to the body of a cow. He drops the bags and Bob grabs him by the neck with two front feet and chokes him to death. BOB (laughing) Welcome to the family. EXT.COUNTRY SIDE-WINDY NIGHT The headless cow and dead reindeer are traveling together. Soon, they stare at a fast passing train. They follow the tracks to a station and wait just outside of it. Soon enough, transcend train(from story 2) comes down the tracks and the two animals jump on. INT.TRAIN CAR Quietly, the two animals hide in the back seats. They travel safely unnoticed for awhile. Suddenly, the noise of footsteps approaches near them. CONDUCTOR (approaching animals) Tickets, all tickets! Oh, shit! He spots the two animals and runs. The animals run through the train panicking all the passengers, somebody pulls the emergency break and the train stops. The two animals run off the train into the dark night. Over the hillside they see the lights of the city. From behind them in the distance they hear footsteps in the distance. REINDEER (V.O.) They are following us. They want us to kill again. That's what he wants too. COW (V.O.) Shut-up! I'm sick of you being my advisor. I want what I want. The two animals head towards the city. EXT.CITY STREET DARK ALLEY-NIGHT The cow and deer rest down a dark alley filled with garbage and dumpsters. A homeless man enters the alley searching for food. He digs in a dumpster while the two are resting on the other side of it. The bum sniffs the air and notices the smell of the animals. He peaks over into the darkness, lights up a match to see and spots them. The bum is startled, drops the match and runs away. The cow runs after him and tackles him to the ground. BUM (yelling) You filthy bastards, rot in hell! While lying on top of him, the cow spreads her legs open sticks her breast in his face and shoots her milk in his face. He continues to scream and curse at them, the reindeer grabs a match from the bums pocket, lights it by striking the cement ground and tosses it on him. The milk ignites, the bum is set ablaze as he continues screaming. The cow and reindeer watch as he burns to death and the alley garbage lights up like a bonfire. EXT.QUIET STREET NEARBY A cop sitting in his patrol car drinking coffee notices the flames in the alley nearby. He turns the sirens on and pulls up in front of the alley blocking the exit. EXT.FRONT OF ALLEY The cop shines his light down the alley. COP (loud) Freeze! Come out of there now, this is the police! The two animals look up hearing the cops voice shouting. Within a moment while the cop sits in his car shining the light down the alley the two mad animals run and jump over his car almost flying over it and take off into the city streets. EXT.BUSY CITY STREETS The two animals run down the street, the reindeer flying slightly over the ground. Motorist panic as traffic stops and several cars and taxicabs slam into each other. Several witnesses are on their cell phones dialing 911, while others run into nearby stores in fear. EXT.CITY PARK-SAME NIGHT Several dozen citizens and press reporters are gathered in the park to listen to a councilman running in a local election. COUNCILMAN (in the middle of a speech to the crowd) As most of you know one of my most important concerns is crime, ladies and gentlemen. INT.CITY POLICE HEADQUARTERS A dispatcher is swamped taking calls from citizens reporting the wild animals running in the streets. INT.POLICE CAR-RACING THROUGH TRAFFIC DISPATCHER (O.C.) All units, all units be on the lookout for wild animals on the loose, possible mutated cows, last sighting on 84th and 6th, use of deadly force is authorized. EXT.CITY PARK News of the wild animals on the loose is out as the crowd begins to whisper loudly during the councilman's speech. Just then, the crowd panics as the headless cow and dead reindeer approach them. The people begin pushing and running in a panic. The sounds of police sirens can now be heard in the distance approaching. A man in a suit whispers in the councilman's ears. The councilman heads back to the pedestal. COUNCILMAN (speaking into the microphone) Don't panic folks! The police are coming, don't provoke the animals!! Police cars with their sirens on pull into the scene as the crowd takes refuge behind them and begin to settle down. The cars doors open and the crowd starts to scream again when they realize that the policeman are half-human and half animal. Their heads were human with police hats on and their bodies were either cow or deer. They were the ten cop headed animals from the farm massacre. COUNCILMAN (quietly to his assistant) Oh, Jesus Christ, help us. He approaches the pedestal. COUNCILMAN (crying in shock into the microphone) What do you want! One of the creatures approach the councilman and they face each other, the animal leans up on the pedestal. ANIMAL COP (into the microphone) We want your heads! It pulls out a machine gun and fires into the crowd. The other animal cops join him and fire guns randomly at the people. Blood is everywhere as bullets and rockets fly through the air mutilating the helpless crowd. The councilman drops to his knees praying and crying as the leader animal cop slices his throat and removes the councilman's head. The creature then rips the stitching from his throat and replaces his cop head with the councilmans. The headless cow stands watching as the creature looks at her. COUNCILMAN HEAD ANIMAL (to the headless cow) You are our favorite. Soon, the real police show up and shoot tear gas into the battle scene. The creatures get weak and teary eyed by the gas. The headless cow and dead reindeer sneak away from the park. EXT.NEARBY SREET The cow and deer do not get very far as they are spotted by a SWAT team truck. INT.SWAT TRUCK LEADER (shouting) Take them out!! Take them out!! No animal gets out of here alive!! The SWAT team members race the truck after the running animals spraying them with bullets from machine guns. They have been hit and are injured but manage to run into an office building by breaking through the glass doors. INT.OFFICE BUILDING The two animals run through the main hallway as the SWAT team follows them still firing. Some kind of clear liquid is pouring from the cow's bottom. They manage to jump into the elevator and the doors shut before the SWAT team can get to them. SWAT TEAM MEMBER (speaking into a shoulder walkie-talkie) Send in the air support! EXT.OFFICE BUILDING ROOF The elevator takes them to the roof. Thinking they are safe the two animals quietly sit on the roof. COW (V.O.) I don't think I can take any more of this. REINDEER (V.O.) Don't die on me again. COW (V.O.) You don't understand. I'm due. The reindeer watches as the cow lies on her back, opens her legs and gives birth to a headless cow baby. The deer watches in amazement a three more babies come out. Everything appears quiet when suddenly the police helicopter appears shining a light in front of them. The dead reindeer is blasted with hundreds of bullets from the chopper. The bullets end up tearing the deer's body into pieces, it falls off the roof, twenty-five stories down. The headless cow strikes back at them jumping onto the helicopter. She smashes through the window and tosses the pilot out. The pilot falls to the roof and is only slightly injured. As he attempted to stand up he is startled when he realizes that something was slithering on his body. Like snakes, the newborn's wrap around his body and squeeze the guts out of him. INT.POLICE HELICOPTER Now in the chopper the cow climbs into the pilot's seat and flies the unit. Flying erratically, the cow swoops down to the streets and fires on the police. Soon, she loses control and smashes to the ground killing a few cops at the same time. EXT.LANDSCAPE VIEW OF CITY The helicopter explosion can be seen miles away. EXT.CITY STREET-NEXT DAY Police cars and ambulances are scattered throughout the busy street. Police and fireman are digging through the remains of the helicopter crash. They discover some burnt bones and ashes. Several detectives are watching. FIREMAN Aint nothing left of this one detective. These things are all dead, for good. The detective looks at him in doubt. INT.COUNTRY CHURCH REVEREND DEAN (finishing a sermon to the church crowd) For God did not send his son into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He who believes in him is not condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. The sermon appeared to be at an end as the crowd begins to beak up. REVERED DEAN We would also like for all of you to extend your deepest prayers to the families of the men and women who were killed in last weeks park riot. One could tell from the tone in the reverends voice that it was obviously not just some random riot that took place, the press releases were somewhat limited but everyone knew that something wicked had taken place there. The churchgoers pause for a moment to pray for them. EXT.CHURCH STEPS As the crowd exited the church, Father Dean caught a glimpse in his eye of Roland, the town nut who was present at the service. He continued shaking hands of the people as they left.
