ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am a writer of fiction and nonfiction short stories. However, I do possess a few novels
not yet published. What inspires me the most is how I present my characters, giving them
special treatments, and how they play a certain role in each story. I enjoy writing
stories of real life situations that many of my readers already enjoy. I do a little
fishing too. [July 1999]

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Even though I enjoy writing very much and would readily write fiction for the shear
pleasure of it, I'm fortunate enough that it is also one of the avenues of income for me.
Professionally I am in journalism and education. I enjoy travelling, listening to
classical and world music and currently live in Los Angeles. [July 1999]

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I have been writing for about 16 years. I am 28 years old and I have lived my whole life
in Seattle, Washington. In October, 1999, I am moving to Antarctica for 5 - 12 months
where I will be working with sheet metal and insulation at McMurdo Station. I'm hoping to
fine tune myself down on The Ice, and perhaps come out of there a better writer, spending
some time in New Zealand and the U.K. on my way home.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am 26 years old, and live in the Astoria queens, a part New York City. I am a
Writer. I write stories, poetry and plays, and am presently hard at work on a novel. I
have just finished a play. I've had short stories published in a vast number of literary
journals, newspapers," New York City Hang Over" "Dark Penguin"
"The Rugers Review." My work is based heavily upon true-life experiences. The
stories are both dark and comical, and some times dramatic. I play on the elements of
life, attempting to look deep inside of people and the lives they lead. I've been
influenced by many contemporary writers. Most importantly by those more experimental in
form such as Charles Bukowski, And Henry Miller, Ernest Hemingway. I know that the world
needs to see my writing because it is dying for something fresh and new. A voice floating
in the dark breaking through the light unclogging the minds of many. Making them feel
happy, sad, and inspired? [July 1999]
